Every now & then, a job pops up that demands a specialty skill above and beyond those of the average autoglazing technician.
A good example of this, is work on a classic or collectable car.
The Auckland owner of this car, [Richard. B] was looking for a glazier with experience in windscreen installation for a 1950’s Morris Minor Panel Van.
The proud owner of this completely restored vehicle wanted to ensure that the technician who installed the windscreen had worked on this type of vehicle before.
To the left is the finished product.
Note the new windscreen has a darker blue tint across the top that fit in with the colour of the vehicle perfectly.
This job was completed in an Auckland City carpark, while the owner was at work.
